Our full day Bee-R & VR brewery tour convinces you that zombies aren’t real… are they?

We don’t bite, but we can’t guarantee the same about the zombies you’ll be fighting! On our Bee-R and VR Brisbane brewery tour combo, guests start their day with a completely unique, out-of-this-world virtual reality gaming session at Zero Latency.

After getting the blood pumping and working up a sweat, it’s time to cool down with some boutique beers at some of Brisbane’s best breweries. The reality may be virtual, but the beers are definitely real.

Must book 8 guests for a private gaming experience and to select your preferred game option.
  • Tour operates Tuesday – Sunday

  • Pick up times: 10:30am – The Gresham (CBD) / 10:40am – Prince Consort Hotel (Fortitude Valley)

  • Tour lasts roughly 5 hours

  • 30-minute virtual reality session; visit 3 breweries; all tasters & lunch included

  • Photo ID required; Must be 18+ to participate
  • Minimum 4 guests required to operate; maximum 8 guests can play at once time.
If minimum numbers are not reached your order will remain as “PENDING” and we will be in touch with options.

  • Please note that the start time and game played on the day are not guaranteed. As our guests are joining a public game, it may happen that a different VR game has already been locked in for the preferred timeslot. The earlier our guests book, the higher likelihood of getting their preferred start time and game.

Our Bee-R & VR tour starts at Zero Latency then visits three Brisbane venues.
Lunch is generally served at the first brewery we visit.

Zero Latency

We start the day at Zero Latency with a 30-minute virtual reality gaming experience. This is not your old-skool VR, this is as high tech as it gets.

Put on the VR headset, strap into the backpack and pick up the controller. You are about to be transported into the virtual world. Once in, you’re free to move and explore as you please – comfortably and naturally, just like you do in the real world. You’re completely untethered. There aren’t any wires or walls to get in the way of your virtual reality adventures.

Please visit Zero Latency’s FAQ page for full player requirements and restrictions.

After an unforgettable experience that you’ll be talking about for days, it’s time to hit the cold beers.

Brisbane Breweries
We have so many incredible breweries to choose from that we share the love as best we can. The venues we visit will change based on drop off locations for guests, events, games at Suncorp or the Gabba, new releases we think are cool, or somewhere we haven’t been in a while. If you have a place you really want to visit (or don’t), please let us know in the Special Requirements section of your booking.
Pick Up & Drop Off Details
Where a location is indicated, we will pick up you outside the venue so please keep an eye out for our van – you can’t miss it!
Pick Ups:

  • The Gresham (308 Queen Street, Brisbane) is an historic pub in central Brisbane. From Central Station, exit toward Ann Street. Past the ANZAC Memorial and through Post Office Square, next to the NAB bank, you’ll find The Gresham tucked away. Alternatively you can exit toward Edward Street, head down the hill and turn left onto Queen Street. Walk about 1/2 block and The Gresham will be next to the NAB on your left. Please note The Gresham does not open until 4pm on Saturdays and is closed on Sundays; we will still pick up here and there are plenty of places around Post Office Square to get a coffee and/or breakfast.
  • Prince Consort Hotel (230 Wickham St, Fortitude Valley) is a very short walk from the Fortitude Valley Station – come out, hang a left and turn right and there you are! Perfect for a morning cuppa before the tour.

We are flexible with our drop-off locations within the city based on guests’ needs and requests.

What’s Included

Included in the price: 30-minutes of zombie-killing action at Zero Latency, transportation in our private, air-conditioned van, guided brewery tour with explanation of the brewing process, all beer samples at the breweries we visit, lunch, beer education and history, snacks, and witty commentary (well, we think it is).

Please note that you are required to wear closed-toe shoes for the virtual reality part of this tour, but it’s also recommended when we visit breweries so you don’t miss out on any of the fun. Also, since they don’t always run on a set schedule, we will try and catch the brewers in action but that can’t always be guaranteed; keep an open mind on the day because no matter what or who we see, the beers are always epic.

If there is a brewery you’re keen to check out, please include the request in the “Special Requirements” section when making your booking and we will try our best to make it happen.

Not finding the tour you want on the date you need? Check our Tour Calendar to see which tour is currently running on what date. Or feel free to give us a call – we might have created a special tour for the day that we can get you on, or we may be sold out. But you’ll never know unless you ask. We’re always happy to help and check availability for you.
