HODFELLOW’S
The legend of Hodfellow is rooted in European folklore, which tells of mythical creatures known as ‘Biersals’, a type of Kobold, small human-like creatures rumoured to inhabit beer cellars. These creatures clean and maintain equipment after dark and in return ask for a small offering of beer, which if not received, results in them causing mischief within the brewery. Hodfellow is one of these little people, who, according to legend, rides a miniature elephant and keeps watch over the brewery whilst unattended.
Whilst there are no elephants to be found, what you get when you visit Hodfellow’s is a warm welcome and cold beers. Featuring a range of lager beers, this is a great place to explore the different styles found within the same family.
