Bavay Distillery

Situated in the historic Rivermakers precinct of Morningside, Bavay Distillery – and its neighbours – are literally awash in history. Named for Auguste de Bavay, a Belgium-born industrial chemist, whose most notable contribution to history was creating a process of distilling molasses to produce acetate of lime for cordite which contributed to Australian self-sufficiency in ammunition manufacturing.

Bavay Distillery brings the tastes of history to Morningside and the greater Brisbane region with its unique range of historically accurate spirits. Specialising in Gins, Rums, and Vodkas, Bavay Distillery is where history is being made.
