Balter Brewing

Balter Brewing began as a labour of love for the surfers, and their first kegs were released to Surf Clubs and local RSLs as well as well-known burger joints and restaurants around the Gold Coast and Brisbane, making Balter beers some of the first to get into the hands of Gold Coast beer drinkers and (hopefully) lead them down the path of enjoying fresh, local craft beer. Now the teal smile representing the brand is ubiquitous, found across not just Queensland but the whole of Australia.

Balter is a term that means “to dance artlessly without particular skill or grace, but usually with enjoyment” and is the spirit with which the brewers and staff alike infuse their beers and venue.
